The Past
Since our founding in 1935 King Cole has been a family business driven by strong traditional values and a dedication to hand knitters.
Throughout our 90 year story we have been based in the traditional home of handknitting and sheep farming: Yorkshire. From Bradford to Keighley, to Bingley, to Silsden, to our current home in Skipton; we love our county and the rich heritage and relationship it has with the yarn industry, and we find new inspiration from it every day.
The Present
A move to much larger and more modern premises in Skipton in 2014 helped to establish our position as one of the best-stocked suppliers in our field of hand knitting yarns and associated products, offering a wholesale service that is second to none. This reliable and responsive service is key to our success as one of the most internationally recognised brands in hand knitting. Our qualities range from 100% wool to 100% acrylics, and every possible combination in between. We have literally thousands of yarn qualities, colours, patterns, and other products available, and pride ourselves in maintaining good stocks and delivering exceptional customer service.
The Future
